Tochecito Wax Palm Forest is a unique and breathtaking natural reserve located in the Andes of Colombia, near the town of Toche in the department of Tolima. This forest is home to one of the largest concentrations of wax palms in the world. The wax palm, which is Colombia’s national tree, is the tallest palm species on earth, with some trees reaching up to 60 meters (nearly 200 feet) in height.
