Norcasia
Norcasia is a small town located in the Colombian department of Caldas located on the banks of the Rio Miel.
Norcasia was founded in 1863, and it was originally called "La Palma". The town was renamed Norcasia in 1886. Norcasia is known for its beautiful scenery, coffee plantations, and adventure tourism opportunities.
Norcasia is home to the Norcasia National Park, which is a popular destination for hiking, camping, and birdwatching. The park is also home to a number of waterfalls, including the La Cascada del Salto, which is a 60-meter (200-foot) waterfall.
It is also home to the Rio Miel Canyon, which is a deep canyon carved by the Rio Miel River. The canyon is a popular destination for whitewater rafting, canyoning, and hiking.
